In Photos: Modaxo Heads Visit Cammax HQ to Cement Acquisition Deal

Last week, Cammax was delighted to announce that we have been acquired by Modaxo, a global technology organisation dedicated to facilitating mobility. Now that the deal has been confirmed, we’re thrilled to release some wonderful behind-the-scenes photos of the Modaxo heads introducing themselves to key members of the Cammax team at our Castleford HQ.

Meet the Team

The Modaxo delegation was led by three key department heads, who were warmly welcomed by the Cammax management team. Saskia Ditter, Group HR Director at Modaxo, was in attendance. Saskia has been at Modaxo since 2013 and has diverse experience in the field of human resources. Saskia was joined by Maria Lingheimer, Group Finance Director, who boasts a robust skill set that includes finance, communication, and internal controls. Lewis Wray, Group Manager responsible for Taranto Systems and Trapeze FX P&S, also made the trip to Castleford. With over 10 years of experience leading the Taranto team, Lewis has overseen the establishment of Taranto as the market leader in parking enforcement, road user charging, and tolling.

From the Cammax side, the team was led by Julian Rooney, our Managing Director, whose leadership has been instrumental in establishing Cammax as a leading supplier of integrated Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs) and Ticketing solutions. Joining Julian were Nick Lye, our Sales Director, whose expertise has been crucial in expanding our market presence; Matthew Trafankowski, our Technical Director, whose technical acumen drives our innovative solutions; and Lucy Walker, our Business Manager, who plays a key role in overseeing our day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.

A Strategic Acquisition for a Brighter Future

The acquisition of Cammax by Modaxo marks a significant milestone for both companies. This strategic move brings together Cammax’s expertise in self-service TVMs, parking payment machines, and advanced payment solutions with Modaxo’s global reach and resources in the mobility sector.

As part of the Modaxo family, we will benefit from increased investment and strategic support, allowing us to push the boundaries of innovation further. Our groundbreaking solutions, such as the Smart Rail TVM and next-generation parking systems, will continue to evolve and improve, setting new standards in the industry.

We’re pleased to confirm that we will maintain our unique brand identity and operational autonomy throughout this transition. Our management team, led by Julian Rooney, will continue to steer our operations, ensuring continuity and preserving the expertise that has driven our success to date.

This acquisition positions us to better serve the evolving needs of our customers, particularly in the transportation and parking industries. By combining our strengths with Modaxo’s extensive network and collaborative best practices, we aim to create more seamless and efficient mobility experiences for users across the UK and beyond.

We’re excited about this new chapter in our company’s history and look forward to the enhanced capabilities and opportunities it brings. Our commitment to innovation and excellence remains unwavering, and with Modaxo’s support, we’re poised to drive further growth and success.
